Recently celebrating 30 years of Control, Janet Damita Jo Jackson – the youngest of the musical dynasty, returned to the charts and radio with her afrobeats hit “Made for Now.” The universal dance track featuring Daddy Yankee was a breath of fresh air and positive energy. It impacted the youth developing a series of viral dance videos on Instagram. And reminded long-time fans of Janet’s iconic status.

In a year that saw her wrap a second run of her State of the World tour, and receive numerous awards honoring her understated pop legacy,  Janet is once again on the ballot to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
